My story
In the cold winter mountains, a stray dog named Ayao stepped into a trap and was rescued by the public and brought to the Xindian Animal Shelter. Besides amputation and wound treatment, Ayao was also diagnosed with heartworm and babesiosis, highlighting the severe harm outdoor environments can cause to stray animals. Therefore, please do not abandon your pets! After several months of treatment, Ayao can now live, run, and play normally, and will only need regular check-ups in the future. PACK Academy has completed his evaluation and training. Currently, Ayao is living with a foster family, learning to adapt to human life, and is ready to win you over with his cheerful and innocent nature!

Personality
Ayao is a super affectionate and playful dog. Because he only has three legs, his favorite thing to do is lie on the ground and play with people, and then start spinning around?! He has a very obedient and well-behaved personality, and he needs someone to lead him, otherwise, he will feel insecure. He doesn't have much stamina; usually, after playing for about 10 minutes, he will quietly rest. If he can lie down, he won’t stay standing!
1
Energy Levels
At first glance, Ayao gets very excited and happy to see people, but he quickly calms down. Most of the time, he is in a quiet and stable state.
2
Temperament
He warmly greets strangers and quickly starts rolling over for belly rubs!
3
Role
Ayao is very submissive and feels more secure when someone is leading him.
4
Adaptability
He needs someone to lead him around to get familiar with his surroundings; otherwise, he might be hesitant to move around freely.

Gets along well with other dogs.
Cats
Ayao is curious about cats and can coexist peacefully with them.
Kids
Children can also play freely with Ayao.

Touch
Ayao absolutely loves being touched all over his body!

Behavior observations

When he first sees someone familiar, he may bark due to excitement.
Separation Anxiety
Ayao does not have separation anxiety.
Aggression
Non-aggressive.

No food or resource guarding behavior.
Destructive Chewing

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
