Big brother raccoon
Boy • 6 years old • Capricorn • Yellow-Gray • 35kg • Mixed Breed
Big Hans comes from the Animal Protection Education Park in Taoyuan City. In January 2023, his owner could no longer take care of him due to a move, since then Big Hans became a stray dog without a home. A dog of this size would frighten people if he wandered on the street, so the public reported to capture him and he entered the Taoyuan Animal Protection Education Park. Although he looks like experiencing many vicissitudes of life, he is not that old and he is full of energy to play with people! The PACK team came across him occasionally, and the evaluator thought that there was no problem for him to live with a family. He is gentle and honest, very close to dogs and humans. He must be a great companion dog. Do you want a warm large dog? Big Hans is waiting for you!
Big Hans really likes to be with people, he likes to be touched and hugged, and he also enjoys lying down with his belly turned over. It's really interesting to see the big guy acting cute. He is very stable, no matter to other dogs, sounds, or strangers.
Big Hans usually looks lazy when he is resting, but when he meets people, he will be very excited and jump up and down.
He likes to interact with people, and loves to get into people’s arms, or turn his belly to be touched.
Big Hans is willing to follow the guidance. Although he has heavy weight and sometimes needs a little strength to control, he will cooperate gently after understanding the instruction.
Big Hans has excellent adaptability and is not interested in anything other than his owner.
My health has been checked:

At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
He loves to interact with strangers.
Gets along well with other dogs but he usually ignores them.
Same reaction as meeting strangers (loves to interact).
Low sensitivity to sound, do not get startled or alerted easily.。
He likes to be touched!
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
When Big Hans was in the cage, he would ask people to let him out to play.
Never destroyed things.
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
