My story
Cora is a sensitive, perceptive girl with incredible adaptability. She was rescued from an improper living environment and later placed in the care of PACK Taiwan. After spending some time in the Sunshine Room and undergoing a series of assessments, she officially entered the PACK Prep School to begin her training.
Though Cora carries an untold past, it has never diminished her trust in and anticipation of humans. She is a highly well-behaved and cooperative dog; with just a little time to adjust, she can seamlessly adapt to the rhythm of family life. Now, Cora is fully ready to welcome her forever home—one that is warm, follows a predictable routine, and is willing to offer her both the patient space and the loving companionship she deserves.

Personality
Cora is a sensitive and observant dog. She isn't the type to show overwhelming enthusiasm upon first meeting; instead, she needs a little time to observe and confirm your reliability. However, once she trusts you, she will give you all her loyalty and passion without reservation, showing an adorable contrast in her personality. At home, she is very quiet and understanding, preferring to lie nearby and quietly keep her owner company. She strongly needs a family with a regular daily routine, as predictability provides her with the greatest sense of security. She doesn't need a noisy environment—just a warm corner and someone she can safely lean on.

Energy Levels
Although very calm at home, she is highly energetic during walks. She loves dirt and grass, occasionally pulling enthusiastically to explore.
2
Temperament
Outgoing around familiar people and environments, but can be shy or fearful on unfamiliar routes or with strangers, requiring time to adapt.
3
Role
She is a very loyal follower. Once she bonds with her owner, her eyes are always on them, following them everywhere they go.
4
Adaptability
Highly adaptable, completely relaxing within 6-7 days. She quickly grasps household routines and rules, ceasing any destructive behaviors once settled.
Foster Family Says
Cora is a very polite dog who respects her owner's rest time. She waits until I am truly awake before enthusiastically greeting me. When I'm busy, she quietly sleeps or plays by herself, giving us both great space. She is truly an excellent companion!

My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Cautious around strangers. If approached suddenly, she may get startled and retreat; she needs adequate time to observe and relax.
Dogs
Very friendly and proactive with other dogs. She actively socializes on walks and even plays with dogs in the community.
Cats
No observations of interactions with cats currently; requires further observation and guidance.
Kids
No specific records with children. Given her sensitive nature and preference for quiet, older and calmer children are recommended.
Noise
Sensitive to outdoor traffic and noisy environments, often trying to hide. Indoors, only sudden loud noises while sleeping will cause a slight reaction.
Touch
Enjoys touch and companionship from familiar people, but is fearful of sudden touches from strangers, requiring established trust first.
2
Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
Rarely barks; an incredibly quiet companion. She may only make a brief sound if startled from deep sleep by thunder or sudden noises.
Separation Anxiety
No separation anxiety. Very stable when home alone; she doesn't bark or destroy things, typically just checking the door before resting.
Aggression
Gentle by nature with absolutely no aggression; a very safe and sweet dog.
Resource Guarding
No resource guarding. She will willingly let go even if you take away her favorite toys or items.
Destructive Chewing
Shows no destructive behavior once adapted to the environment. She is a well-behaved girl who respects household items.
3
Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
