My story
Before arriving at PACK Academy in February 2025, Dazui had spent 7 years at the Sanzhi Animal Shelter. Now almost 10 years old, he has a distinct short lower jaw, likely due to a congenital condition — giving him his unique “big mouth” appearance.
Dazui is friendly with both people and dogs, still full of energy, playful, food-motivated, and has a wide, stout build that makes him feel incredibly cozy and solid when you hug him. His personality is exceptionally gentle and affectionate — the kind of “warm guy” you rarely find. He’s also great with children, making interactions with them feel safe and easy.
Dazui is currently waiting for a foster home. He’s suitable for a variety of households. Would you be willing to help him?
Personality
Cheerful and lively, Dazui is like that friendly security guard who always wants to chat. He’s got a friendly disposition toward everyone. While he may seem easygoing, he’s actually quite sensitive and perceptive of emotional changes around him.
He enjoys both the buzz of social settings and the calm of alone time. One moment he’s bouncing with energy; the next, he’s peacefully cuddling by your side. Dazui expresses his emotions clearly and sincerely. This upbeat yet sensitive little guy spreads joy with his enthusiasm and comforts others with his tenderness.

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
