Adopt Dobby
Boy • 3 years old • Libra • Gold • 14kg • Mixed Breed
My story
In the end of September 2022, Dobby was brought back from Xindian Animal Shelter by the evaluator of PACK Taiwan. He is still young, but his left hind leg had a severe impact that caused comminuted fracture. During the recovery, stimulated by the bone nail and the crooked bones, the inflammation couldn’t heal for a long time. Thanks to the efforts of PACK Taiwan and Xiandian Animal Shelter, he is fully recovered now. At first he could only walk by jumping, now all his legs can land well and run at full speed! Dobby has an introverted personality and it takes some time for him to warm up. After knowing you well, he becomes a lively little boy who loves to play, which is really lovely!

Personality
Dobby needs some time to adapt the environment. Due to insufficient socialization and injury during his childhood, he tends to observe from a distance when meeting new things, will only walk around comfortably after ensuring everything is safe. Although he is a bit shy, he will not flee in a panic. Strangers can easily approach Dobby and touch him, after a few touches, he will comfily lie down!

Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.

Dogs
Would annoy other dogs, perhaps due to weird walking position, or impolite to fight for others’ food

Kids
No special reactions with kids, kids can be around Dobby and touch him
Noise
Easily to get startled, will lower his body to hide
