Forest-themed Cute Girl
Adopt Faline
Girl • 3 years old • Taurus • Yellow-Brown • 12kg • Mixed
My story
“Hey? What are you doing? Let me see—Wow—Forget about that, let’s play quickly!! You don’t have time? That’s too bad, I’ll just play my pretend carpet game by myself~” The lively and enthusiastic **Faline** is a bundle of joy! She can instantly play with strangers or other dogs, and even those who initially don’t want to play will be charmed into joining by **Faline**’s cuteness. **Faline** is small in stature; a natural developmental issue has slightly affected her left front leg, making it a bit weak. Even more unfortunate, **Faline** had to have her tail shortened due to a car accident. However, these imperfections do not affect **Faline**’s loving heart for people at all! Watching **Faline** hop around with her little tail, she resembles a fawn in the forest, which is why she has the nickname “**Faline**,” after the girlfriend of Bambi!

Personality
**Faline** has a fiery personality! She is full of energy and very good at reading the room; when others seem uninterested, she will step away at the right moment. She also knows how to adjust and rest, a rare and wonderful trait, making her particularly suitable for families that enjoy high interaction. When she sees someone familiar, she will crawl forward and wag her short tail wildly, then bounce around or roll over at their feet.

Foster Family Says
She only barks when there’s a need, and if you don’t respond, she will feel it’s ineffective and gradually bark less. After two days, she becomes super well-behaved! She’s a bit picky and doesn’t like to eat dry food; she will only eat when she’s very hungry, but she absolutely loves canned food and treats—she’s not picky at all! At first, she may be a bit timid and wary, but she quickly normalizes once she gets to know you; she’s a child who loves to be pampered~~

Faline has a natural developmental issue with her left front leg, and her tail is shortened due to a car accident, but it doesn’t affect her daily life. Currently, there are no other medical issues.
My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Faline loves interacting with strangers! However, she needs to get to know tall men before she starts playing.
Dogs
She gets along well with other dogs and loves to invite them to play.
Cats
At first, she might tuck her tail and raise her fur, but once she gets to know cats, she’s fine.
Kids
She is very enthusiastic towards children, but small kids should be careful not to get knocked over.
Noise
She’s not sensitive to sounds, but she becomes curious and cautious about sounds she can't see.
Touch
Faline loves being petted on the head, belly, and all over!
2
Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
She expresses her emotions through barking, such as when she's anxious or has a request, but it's easy to get her to stop.
Separation Anxiety
Currently, there is no separation anxiety, but Faline is very clingy, so her future family needs to pay attention to interaction methods to avoid developing separation anxiety.
Aggression
She has no aggression.
Resource Guarding
She doesn’t guard food or possessions.
Destructive Chewing
She hasn’t truly destroyed anything, but due to her age, she still uses her teeth to explore her environment.
3
Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
