My story
In February 2024, amidst the continuous drizzle and cold temperatures hovering around 10 degrees Celsius, Gua Gua was found by people on the mountainside of Sanzhi District, who brought him to the Sanzhi Public Animal Shelter. Gua Gua was found suffering from a skin infection, malnutrition, and weakness in his limbs. Nevertheless, Gua Gua still held an unwavering affection for people. It is speculated that he had been cared for by someone before. Evaluators from Pack Academy believe that with Gua Gua's personality and adorable appearance, he will surely find a loving family that will cherish him forever and he will never be abandoned again. Gua Gua is very eager to learn; bright and alert, he quickly grasps commands and displays a quiet sense of obedience. Currently, he is undergoing a trial period in a foster family, adapting to human life. Gua Gua, with his sweet loveliness and kind soul, awaits your warm embrace. Are you willing to offer him a loving home?

Personality
Don't be fooled by Gua Gua's cool, scarred and beaten face; in reality, he's very calm and a bit shy. Just observe his sitting posture, and you'll understand why he's called Gua Gua! Spend more time with him, and he'll gradually cozy up to you, giving you those adorable and irresistible puppy eyes that will surely bring a smile to your face. Additionally, Gua Gua has a calm and steady temperament; sudden environmental stimuli don't trigger any strong reactions from him. Gua Gua is highly intelligent with a strong understanding of words, quickly connecting commands with actions. This may also be because Gua Gua is easily captivated by treats! Nonetheless, he's easily satisfied. Here’s a trick: offering verbal praise when he does something right can keep him happy for a long time!
1
Energy Levels
Give Gua Gua a few extra minutes, and he'll have the courage to play with people. However, he prefers to quietly lie on people's laps and be petted, earning him the title of cutest lap dog!
2
Temperament
Gua Gua isn't a social butterfly; he's more of a reserved companion, needing a little extra time (or treats!) to warm up and become close.
3
Role
Gua Gua shows minimal interest in his surroundings but is highly obedient to human instructions.
4
Adaptability
Gua Gua adapts well to unfamiliar environments, causally exploring and quickly finding a comfortable resting spot. However, he becomes slightly nervous if there are unfamiliar dogs around.
Medical History
My health has been checked:

My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Although he may initially sniff around and remain slightly shy around strangers, a few more minutes (or some treats) helps Gua Gua warm up to them.
Dogs
Gua Gua doesn't casually approach unfamiliar dogs; he tends to be a bit more nervous meeting new dogs.
Cats
Gua Gua will actively sniff cats, but if the cat shows disinterest, he will retreat behind people to hide.
Kids
Gua Gua has not had any contact with children yet.
Noise
Gua Gua doesn't react much to loud noises.
Touch
Gua Gua thoroughly enjoys being touched and loves hugs from people.
