My story
Heibao joined PACK Academy in November 2025. She used to roam and wander outside and was reported by the public, entering the Neihu Shelter. When PACK's evaluators first saw Heibao, they were immediately struck by her stunning appearance, which strongly resembled the face of the cartoon character Shaun the Sheep, leaving a deep impression. Even more delightful is Heibao's personality: she is very gentle, calm, not anxious, friendly towards people and dogs, and brave in exploring new environments. With such excellent personality and looks, we believe a family will notice Heibao soon! What are you waiting for? Come and meet her!
Personality
Heibao's movements are gentle, and her personality is stable, making people feel at ease. Whether going to a new environment or visiting the vet, Heibao maintains a noble and elegant demeanor, exploring new surroundings with her head held high and bravely, and is compliant when being picked up or guided by people. Strangers can easily bond and play with Heibao, especially the "you chase me, I chase you" game. Of course, treats are also very attractive to Heibao. When she wants more, she will sit quietly, gaze at you, and whine softly to ask, much like a graceful princess gently requesting something.

Heibao only shows bursts of energy when excited, but she is generally well-behaved and quiet.

Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Strangers can happily interact with Heibao.

Heibao is keen to meet new friends and is more relaxed when other dogs are around.
Cats
Can co-exist with cats.
Kids
Is comfortable around children!
Noise
Not sensitive to sound stimulation.
Touch
Heibao can be touched all over; she may only actively seek petting once she is more familiar with someone.

Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
She makes soft whining/crying sounds to express her demands when she wants food.
Separation Anxiety
Separation anxiety has not been observed so far.
Aggression
No aggression.
Resource Guarding
No resource guarding of food or objects.
Destructive Chewing
Has not destroyed any objects.

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
