My story
PACK Academy works with Sanzhi Animal Shelter to help stray dogs find their home efficiently. Our team assess and select dogs from Sanzhi Animal Shelter, and bring them back to PACK to conduct further training, and Jenny is one of the cases. Data shows that Jenny is an abandoned stray dog, she accepted a training program at PACK for a month, and she made it to intern at a halfway house recently. Jenny is not only friendly but also clingy, and she is worthy of a sweet home. Jenny is working hard on finding her permanent home, we should give her a hand as long as we can!

Personality
Jenny is a fast learner because she loves treats and petting! Jenny is outgoing but she gets scared by noise easily, and she gets naughty when she adapts to a new environment. She is a big fan of treats, naughty, and energetic. In all, Jenny is a good girl, and she’s good for any kind of family!
1
Energy Levels
Jenny gets excited when she sees food. She wonders when she’s in an unfamilar environment, by giving clear orders or petting her can make her calm.
2
Temperament
Jenny gets shy or nervous when accesses to something new(e.g. new enviornments, strangers, etc.), and she needs some time to get used to them. Jenny relaxes and chills when she’s okay.
3
Role
Jenny is pretty easy going most of the time, but she will actively fight for something she wants. (e.g. treats or attentions)
4
Adaptability
Jenny is nervous when the first 3 days in a new family, she relaxes from day 4 and onwards. She can handle most new environments except for in a car or cage.
Foster Family Says
Somehow our dogs love whispering in Jenny’s ear, seems like she’s a good listener!
Jenny loves having companions, she’s into petting, and she adopts herself to home life well, gets along with other dogs well. Jenny just needs a couple of days to get used to a new environment, she stay s on the belcony a lot when she just arrived, but now she’s used to our family, which is wonderful!

My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Friendly, Jenny is okay being petted by anyone.
Dogs
Jenny was aggrasive towards others dogs for couple times when she’s at PACK, maybe that was for people’s attention. When Jenny is at the halfway home, she gets along with others dogs well.
Cats
Not specific interested in cats.
Kids
We don’t know. Jenny seldom gets along with kids.
Noise
A sudden noise whill scare Jenny, but she gets calm quickly.
Touch
Jenny is a big hug lover. Jenny enjoys petting and shows her belly a lot. We can comfort Jenny’s feelings by petting her.
2
Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
Jenny barks when she wants to get out from the cage, she’s quiet when she’s at home.
Separation Anxiety
Jenny gets anxious and scratches for the first 10 minutes being alone, she won’t feel anxious when she has dogs as companions.
Aggression
Jenny has no aggression toward humans.
Resource Guarding
When eating, Jenny warns any dogs who get close. Jenny has no guarding behavior on other things.
Destructive Chewing
Never breaks things, nor bites something that he should not bite.
