My story

My story

In July 2025 (which is how she got her name),July was found wandering the streets and brought to the Tamsui Animal Shelter. By October 2025, her remarkable trust in humans led her to pass evaluations and join the PACK Academy. July has a distinct appearance; her shorter snout suggests a potential Bulldog influence, giving her a unique, courageous look. During her evaluation, she was bold and cooperative, accepting all testing motions without hesitation. To July, humans are her ultimate anchor. While she looks cool and independent, her "true character" is rooted in a total craving for affection. She has shown incredible adaptability—though she once had potty accidents from being over-excited, she has improved rapidly with guidance. July is looking for a family who appreciates her unique charm and is ready to grow alongside her passionate heart.

July

Personality

July is a classic "ENFP Campaigner" driven by food and affection. Friendly to both people and dogs, she is a playful, food-motivated girl. The trust she showed during her evaluation has blossomed into an unreserved, bold way of seeking affection, creating a charmingly "cool" persona. While she doesn't fit the dainty mold, she is fiercely loyal and obedient to her primary caretaker, acting as a devoted guardian for those she loves. Occasionally, her enthusiasm makes her "clueless" about social boundaries with other pets. For July, durable chew toys are her emotional stabilizer. With enough chewing outlets and quality time, she transforms into a reliable and straightforward companion.

My Behavior

My Behavior

July is a star student due to her high motivation for food and play. She masters basic commands like "Sit," "Down," and "Stay" perfectly. On walks, her excitement leads to strong pulling, requiring a capable handler; pre-walk enrichment is recommended. Previous potty accidents caused by over-excitement have been resolved through a consistent outdoor schedule. If under-stimulated, she may resort to chewing items, so providing durable toys is essential. Despite her passion for people, her dominant social style suggests she should be the "only child" initially, allowing her to fully soak up her owner's attention and build security.
