My story

My story

Latte was found wandering the city and was taken to the Neihu Animal Shelter, where he quietly waited but was never reclaimed by his original owner. In August 2025, PACK’s evaluators discovered him. Beneath his calm appearance lies a lively and affectionate heart. Latte is well-socialized—friendly with everyone and confident in new environments. When he first arrived at his foster home, he adapted within just one day, showing remarkable stability. His warmth is like a cup of rich, gentle latte—something to savor slowly. Latte needs a loving home where he can fully express his playful, affectionate, and gentle nature.

Latte

Personality

Latte is playful, energetic, and affectionate with both people and dogs. He eagerly greets everyone he meets. As a curious explorer, he loves investigating new things, though he may show a bit of shyness around larger or overly excitable dogs. Overall, he’s a stable, curious, and dependable companion.

1

Energy Levels

At home, Latte is usually calm and enjoys quietly observing his family. He gets especially excited when his humans return home or when he hears the magic words, “Let’s go for a walk!” If you need him to settle down, a gentle “wait” or “no” quickly brings him back to calm.

4

Adaptability

Latte adapts extremely well. Even when spending the night in new places, as long as his family is with him, he feels secure. On his first day with his foster family, he showed impressive stability—no crying or barking.

Foster Family Says

“Latte is a very stable and adaptable dog. He adjusted to our home within just one day. Most of the time, he’s calm, except when we come home or prepare for a walk. He’s affectionate with people and other dogs, and he’s a reliable follower. He understands commands, doesn’t bark excessively, and doesn’t destroy things.”

Medical History

No special medical issues.
My Behavior

My Behavior

Latte is polite, steady, and lovable. He’s good with people, dogs, and children, and shows little interest in cats. Energetic and fond of outdoor activities, he walks well on leash with minimal pulling and is easy to handle. He has good potty habits and never soils the house. His one quirky habit: after going potty outside, he doesn’t step away and may step right onto his “landmine.” A quick redirect prevents his human from having to squeal in horror! At home, Latte is quiet and shows no signs of separation anxiety, food guarding, or destructive behavior. He loves being petted by anyone and responds with affectionate cuddles.
