My story

My story

In late August 2023, Layla was brought to PACK Taiwan by an assessor from the Wugu Animal Shelter. Adored by the caretakers at the shelter for her sweet and affectionate nature, it's truly puzzling how someone could abandon such an amazing dog. After entering PACK Adecamy, Layla lived up to expectations, swiftly completing assessments and training with flying colors. However, her competitive nature surfaced when she found herself in her first foster home, revealing that Layla prefers a quieter environment without overly assertive dogs. Currently undergoing an internship, Layla is an overall angelic pup – quiet, affectionate, and knows exactly when to be charming. She's incredibly attached but in the most endearing way, making her an ideal companion for both seniors and children!

Layla

Personality

Layla, the adorable and affectionate little lady, has a strong possessive streak towards her owner and isn't keen on sharing their love with other dogs. Cheerful and lively, she loves interacting with people and, remarkably, stays calm and relaxed when her owner is busy. Layla's distinctive features include the white fur on her paws and her fluffy tail, giving her an elegant princess-like appearance.

SHY SOCIAL

3

Role

Most of the time, Layla is obedient, but she can be stubborn when it comes to vying for attention.

FOLLOWER LEADER

4

Adaptability

She adapts well to new environments and isn't afraid of anything in particular.

Low High
Foster Family Says

Extremely affectionate, Layla is generally well-received by children who appreciate her steady demeanor. She's not a fan of overly energetic dogs, and her patience wears thin quickly if they persistently approach for play. Layla loves people, enjoys being petted, and has an affinity for treats. Sudden, forceful movements or an impatient tone might startle her, causing her to retreat to a corner. She's wary of the blow dryer, likely due to unfamiliarity. Though she dislikes tooth brushing, she won't get aggressive. Layla is still learning about using pee pads and prefers to go potty outdoors.

Medical History

My health has been checked:

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Microchipped
  • Vaccinated
  • Regular Worming Treatment

No other health issues have been observed.
My Behavior

My Behavior

Layla is incredibly well-behaved and quiet, adoring attention from people without any possessive behavior or separation anxiety. However, she tends to compete for attention with other dogs, attempting to drive them away and potentially causing conflicts. Therefore, Layla would be best suited for a home without other dogs or with more subdued canine companions. She is still undergoing toilet training and has yet to learn to use pee pads indoors. Overall, Layla is a dog with a great personality and high interactivity!

5

Dogs

Generally, she can peacefully coexist with other dogs, but her patience may wear thin with overly enthusiastic playmates.
