My story

My story

Milu’s original owner had three small dogs, and Milu was the most easygoing of them all. Sadly, after his owner passed away, the relatives could only keep one dog. Milu and another dog were sent to the Neihu Animal Shelter. In April 2025, a PACK volunteer first met Milu. He sat silently in his small cage, calmly watching the evaluator walk by, looking very obedient and quiet. After the evaluation confirmed that he was friendly and non-aggressive, they decided to help Milu find a new home!

Milu

Personality

Milu is a very calm and easygoing dog. He faces new people and situations with composure, never showing signs of nervousness or fear. It’s clear that he especially loves children — whenever he sees kids, he’ll happily approach them and doesn’t want to leave their side! Milu is not the type to demand constant affection. He often rests quietly in his little bed, but if you call him, he’ll quickly trot over to you with a happy face. Milu truly is an adorable and easy-to-get-along-with little angel!

1

Energy Levels

Milu rarely shows signs of excitement. If something excites him, he calms down quickly on his own without needing help.

RELAXED ACTIVE

2

Temperament

Milu’s attitude towards different beings varies. He doesn’t enjoy interacting with other dogs or cats, but he is very friendly and approachable with humans. However, he’s not an overly enthusiastic dog — he is gentle, polite, and takes his time to approach.

SHY SOCIAL

3

Role

Milu is a gentle follower with a high level of cooperation.

FOLLOWER LEADER

4

Adaptability

He adapts well to new environments, crates, and baths. The only issue was on his first long period of being alone (about two hours),where he barked, chewed through his harness, and had potty accidents. However, he didn’t destroy anything, and this behavior didn’t repeat afterward.

Low High
Foster Family Says

Milu is truly well-behaved. Although he initially had some separation anxiety and barked when left alone, the issue improved after just a few days of settling in. Now, he is a perfect dog with no flaws.

Medical History

My health has been checked:

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Microchipped
  • Vaccinated
  • Regular Worming Treatment

No known medical issues.
My Behavior

My Behavior

Milu is always aware of his owner's movements. When you're home, he can entertain himself nearby. If he notices that you’re about to leave, he might bark a little, but once you leave, he quickly calms down. When he needs to go potty, he’ll do a little step dance or lick himself. If using a pee pad indoors, he’ll give a soft bark afterward to let everyone know he’s done!

My Behavior

1

Tolerance Levels

At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.

Strangers

Milu is curious and doesn’t mind strangers approaching him, but he especially enjoys spending time with children.

4

Dogs

Milu is not very interested in other dogs, and if they approach too eagerly, he tends to avoid them.

3

Cats

He’s indifferent toward cats and is considered a friendly dog by them.

4

Kids

Milu loves kids and is happy to let them approach him — he doesn’t want to be separated from them!

5

Noise

Milu doesn’t react strongly to noise.

5

Touch

He loves being touched all over and doesn’t have any sensitive areas!
