My story
Mio is a black dog full of sunshine and vitality. She was originally rescued from a private dog shelter in Kaohsiung and was later assisted by PACK for placement. Upon arriving at the PACK Sanctuary, she spent some time adapting in the Sunshine Room. With her naturally cheerful personality and excellent adaptability, Mio successfully passed a series of strict evaluations and entered the PACK Academy for advanced training. From the shelter to the academy, Mio has shown great resilience and complete trust in humans. She is not just an excellent dog ready for a home, but a perfect companion suitable for "all families." Now, this enthusiastic girl is eagerly waiting for a forever family to love her.

Personality
Mio has the personality traits of an "ENFP Campaigner"—passionate, cheerful, and full of energy. She is a true "social butterfly" who loves making friends. Whether facing humans or other dogs, she always shows 100% friendliness. Mio has an easygoing and affectionate nature. Her greatest advantage is her ability to balance her energy: when there is someone to interact with, she is energetic and a great companion; when alone, she can stay perfectly calm. Furthermore, she is highly empathetic and can even actively help shy or new dogs adapt to the environment. This food-motivated and positive girl will definitely bring endless joy to any family.

My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Very enthusiastic and friendly to strangers, without any wariness, actively seeking interaction and attention.
Dogs
Good at making friends with other dogs, gets along well, and can even guide shy dogs to adapt.
Cats
Reaction to cats is currently unknown; requires gradual introduction if there are cats at home.
Kids
Reaction to children is unknown, but with her friendly nature, she should interact well under adult supervision.
Noise
Relatively insensitive to general noises; she will not show severe fright or anxiety due to environmental sounds.
Touch
Loves physical contact and acting affectionately. She enjoys being petted and is a warm, clingy girl.
2
Behavior observations
There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Barking
Usually quiet; she only barks mildly to express the need to go out and to remind her owner.
Separation Anxiety
No separation anxiety observed; she can stay alone quietly and stably without crying when no one is around.
Aggression
Absolutely no aggression; she is gentle and full of goodwill.
Resource Guarding
No guarding against humans. She shows mild guarding towards other dogs by driving them away, but never attacks.
Destructive Chewing
No destructive chewing on furniture or items observed; her indoor behavior is excellent.
3
Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
