My story

My story

Shanmei is a 4-year-old brindle girl whose most distinctive feature is her dainty, tiny floppy ears. She arrived at PACK Academy from the Tamsui Animal Shelter in October 2025. Initially, due to a lack of early socialization, she was exceptionally shy and slow to warm up. However, during her training, Shanmei showed incredible resilience and progress. Through consistent guidance and social training, she has learned how to interact with humans and other dogs. Her transformation from a withdrawn observer to the cheerful, interactive girl she is today highlights her growing confidence. Today, she is not only highly obedient but will proactively roll over to show her belly, offering complete trust to those she loves. She is searching for a family that understands her past and will continue to help her shine.

Foster Family Says

Shan-Mei is a very stable and well-behaved girl. Once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll see just how sweet and passionate she truly is. Around those she knows, she’s a total cuddle bug—not only does she enjoy being petted, but she’ll also shower you with 'sneaky kisses' and constantly ask for hugs.

She can be a bit cautious with strangers, but she just needs a little space and patience. Once she senses no threat and feels safe, she’ll slowly let her guard down and open her heart to you.
