My story
Hi... I'm Teddy, um... you're too close, can you step back a bit? That's much better... I've been living at the Wugu district Public Animal House for as long as I can remember; I've been here for 6 years, so long that my fur grew long. What did you say? I was born with long hair? Anyway, the evaluator from PACK said they wanted to find me a home, so they took me to PACK Academy. I was really happy, but also a bit scared, because I usually only play with the big brothers and sisters who take care of me. Strangers like you... I usually... you... what are you doing with your hand? If you pet me, I will... I will actually feel very comfortable ~ don't make me say it out loud! I’m so shy! I don't like it when you’re too forward, unless you're taking me home!

Personality
Teddy's personality is cold on the outside but warm and fuzzy on the inside. He is naturally very gentle and gets jealous easily. Once he becomes familiar with his environment and owner, he turns into a different dog, jumping up for cuddles and actively seeking attention. When ignored, he will quietly sit beside you and wait for you to pet him. He is an extremely therapeutic and fulfilling dog to be around.
1
Energy Levels
At first, he may seem shy, but once he gets to know you, he will actively seek affection. He loves going for walks and radiates happiness and excitement.
2
Temperament
Teddy is very shy in unfamiliar environments. He will only become more comfortable and relaxed once he gets familiar with his surroundings.
3
Role
Most of the time, Teddy has his own plans and is not used to being the center of attention. He feels scared when others approach him, prefering to initiate contact himself.
4
Adaptability
Teddy needs a few days to adapt to a new environment and owner, but as long as he has a quiet and comfortable corner, he can stay there obediently for up to a day.
Foster Family Says
Teddy is doing great, more confident and happy each day. With that his energy level is increasing just a little. He’s started playing with other dog!!! It’s still just moderate energy but good to see.

My Behavior
1
Tolerance Levels
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.
Strangers
Teddy accepts the approach and touch of strangers but may show signs of nervousness.
Dogs
Teddy is usually not interested in other dogs, but he will play with them when in a good mood.
Cats
No observations with cats yet.
Kids
Same reaction as with strangers.
Noise
Teddy is not sensitive to sounds; he notices them but doesn’t react excessively.
Touch
Teddy actually enjoys being petted, but only from someone he trusts!
2

Obedience Training
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
Name
Teddy understands his name.
Yes & No
Teddy understands yes and no.
Potty Trained
Teddy only has indoor accidents when he first arrives in a new environment, which is a behavior stemming from seeking security. Once he becomes familiar with the environment, he can go to the bathroom outside as usual.
Good on Leash
Teddy enjoys going for walks but sometimes hesitates to walk in unfamiliar environments. With a little patience and guidance, Teddy can be encouraged to keep up. Since he has limited street experience, it's important to hold his leash firmly.
