My story
Rescued from a situation of severe neglect, Umi was given a second chance at life through PACK Taiwan's dedicated care. After spending time healing in the sanctuary's Sunshine House, she passed her evaluations and stepped into PACK Academy to begin her training journey. Despite enduring a painful past, Umi has never lost her boundless trust and affection for humans. While she may feel slightly shy when first introduced to unfamiliar surroundings, a little patience quickly reveals her warm, cheerful, and loving soul. She adores people and is ready to adapt to the rhythm of family life. Today, Umi is fully prepared to enter a forever home that will embrace her with steady patience, open arms, and endless love.

Personality
Umi is a cautious, gentle soul who is naturally slow to warm up and a bit shy in unfamiliar situations. When entering new environments or meeting new faces, she tends to observe quietly from a distance. However, she possesses remarkably good adaptability; with a little patience and gentle reassurance, she quickly lets her guard down to reveal her affectionate, loving nature. Umi craves human presence and warmth, eagerly seeking petting and interaction. In daily life, she shines as an accommodating follower—communicating her needs clearly while happily cooperating with guidance. Highly food-motivated, she makes positive reinforcement training a breeze. This slow-to-warm-up yet deeply devoted companion will bring boundless warmth to a loving home.
