My story

My story

Baitang was brought to the shelter due to being mistreated in the past, an experience that shaped his cautious and observant nature. When meeting new people, he tends to watch quietly from a distance and will only approach gently once he feels safe. In his early days at the shelter, he lived with much larger dogs, where his smaller size made him quite submissive and reserved. After moving to an individual kennel, he initially struggled with intense loneliness and anxiety without a companion. Thanks to the long-term patience and love from our volunteers, Baitang finally overcame his fears and regained the confidence to step out of his kennel. Today, his signature sweet smile has returned, and he is ready to share his hard-won courage with a forever family he can truly rely on.

Baitang

Personality

Baitang possesses a classic "ESFP Entertainer" personality, making her a true social butterfly. Sunny, cheerful, and full of vitality by nature, she is curious and enthusiastic toward both people and other dogs, showing no fear of strangers. Baitang is extremely fond of physical contact; she not only loves being hugged but also proactively seeks out affection and cuddles, truly living up to her role as a "Sweetheart Companion." With a "people-pleasing" nature and low self-assertion, she prefers observing her owner's reactions and following their lead rather than being stubborn. While her love for food is boundless, it makes her a highly motivated and cooperative partner in training, making her a perfect fit for any type of family.

My Behavior

My Behavior

Baitang is an excellent walking companion who stays steady on the leash, walking calmly beside her person without pulling. While she currently exhibits mild separation anxiety—barking to attract attention when left alone—this behavior settles quickly when ignored. Baitang's high food motivation makes training both easy and enjoyable, and her success rate with basic commands like her name and "Sit" is exceptionally high. Additionally, she has established stable potty habits, preferring to go outdoors when given sufficient time outside. She is indifferent to environmental noise, proving to be a well-balanced girl with immense potential.
