My story

My story

Happy was adopted into a family as a puppy and is very familiar with domestic life. However, after six years, his owner was unable to continue caring for him due to personal reasons, and he was placed in the Tamsui Animal Shelter. In October 2025, PACK evaluators met Happy and were immediately drawn to his calm temperament and friendliness; his assessment went very smoothly. Although Happy has a lower tolerance for other dogs and prefers being the "only child" to receive exclusive love, we believe he is an excellent candidate for family life!

Happy

Personality

Happy is a stable, food-motivated, and highly interactive dog. He is very intelligent and constantly keeps his eyes on his owner; he is sensitive to changes in tone and emotion, which makes him a quick learner of commands. Deep down, he is a total sweetheart who loves to cuddle. He will often watch from a distance and wait until other dogs have left before approaching to claim the trainer's exclusive attention. During these moments, he prefers not to have other dogs nearby and will bark to drive them away.

Foster Family Says

Happy is a very considerate companion who can keenly sense human emotions. While he is more assertive toward other dogs to secure exclusive attention, he is incredibly gentle with people. He dislikes the noise of hairdryers and vacuums and will hide when he hears them. He is currently learning to stay calm around scooters, so his future owner will need a bit of patience to help him overcome this minor fear.

Medical History

My health has been checked:

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Microchipped
  • Vaccinated
  • Regular Worming Treatment

No specific medical issues.
My Behavior

My Behavior

Happy is a quiet dog who rests calmly at home. His high food motivation makes training a breeze. He is well-behaved and stable during car rides; while he doesn't seem to enjoy baths, he tolerates them patiently. He dislikes hairdryers and vacuums and will walk away to avoid them, though he isn't bothered by brooms or mops. He currently has some fear regarding riding on scooters and is still in the process of learning and adapting.
