Marble Bread
Adopt Huniu
Girl • 1 year old • Aries • Yellow Brindle • 16kg • Mixed Breed
My story
Huniu's journey began with a heartbreaking rescue; she was found trapped in a plastic bag inside a ditch, crying out for help. Initially, she clung to humans for a sense of security. Her sweet nature led to a quick adoption, but tragically, she was returned just a month later due to "destructive behavior" and "potty accidents." Since returning to the shelter, Huniu has become more guarded and distant toward people. We may never know what happened during that month away, but it has left her needing more time to rebuild her trust. Despite her caution with humans, her love for other dogs remains unchanged. This "Marble Bread" patterned girl is now searching for a patient family that will truly accept her past and offer a forever sanctuary.

Personality
Huniu possesses an "INTJ Architect" personality—beneath her lively and energetic exterior lies a keen, observant mind. She is a social butterfly with other dogs, showing great confidence and friendliness in canine groups. However, around humans, she is a "slow-burn" character, remaining wary of strangers until trust is built. Highly food-motivated, Huniu shows incredible potential for training. She is a blend of logic and emotion: while she can be restless and excitable, she transforms into a sweet companion once she initiates affection. She needs a leader who can guide her through occasional anxiety and provide a strong sense of security.
