My story
"I've had a long journey and I'm a little tired."
At PACK HQ there is a rotund little fellow that lazily sleeps in the back of a kennel. From afar, visitors think they've seen a sheep.
"I know I look like a sheep and I'm a bit lazy, but I'm actually a Chow Chow!" The Mont Blanc colored Huxley laughs and says, "There's only one reason I ever move... for FOOD."
In fact, Huxley is already 14 years old and he is aging like many of his friends at PACK HQ. His once majestic face has was ravaged by parasites, causing him to lose his fur on his face and exposing he black skin.
Chow Chow's are famously loyal... and so is Huxley. "I really love to be pet! Even though I don't move much (other than to eat), if you come and pet me, it'll make my day!" Huxley's eyes light up and he gazes fondly at anyone who gives him some attention.
"Come say 'hi' to me," said Huxley, "I may even muster the energy to move from my bed."

Energy Levels
Grandpa Huxley doesn't like to move! He hates the rain, he hates hot weather. He likes to eat and sleep.

Temperament
Huxley doesn't actively seek human attention but will still wag his tail and stomp his feet when he's happy.

Role
Huxley is a middle-of-the-pack dog and will follow on a leash... but he's sometimes too lazy to walk. He's 14 after all!

Adaptability
He's a little wary of strangers but he's still friendly. All he needs is a comfortable bed and he can adapt to any situation.

Huxley had a bout with demodicosis, which caused him to lose a lot of his fur. The affected area was unable to grow new fur, resulting in his sheep-like appearance. His condition now is stable.
