My story

My story

Kay was brought to PACK Taiwan when she was around 3 years old because she was wounded by some very bad people. Someone had used a machete to slice her shoulder and the gash that resulted required intensive medical care. We were able to nurse her back to health but we think the experience made her untrusting of humans. She has been at PACK HQ for around 5 years but has shown great potential to be a companion for the right family.

Kay

Personality

Kay is a shy dog who prefers to relax at home instead of going to brunch with your friends. Once she trusts you her sweetness will melt your heart. While she's more of a follower, she is extremely smart and can survive on her own if she needs to.

1

Energy Levels

Kay loves to go on relaxing walks and is also perfectly happy chilling at home with you. Generally a low-energy dog.

RELAXED ACTIVE

2

Temperament

The consistent feedback we receive on Kay is that she is super shy!

SHY SOCIAL

3

Role

Kay does not have a strong personality at all. She may show some stubbornness but is otherwise happy to follow you.

FOLLOWER LEADER

4

Adaptability

Other than humans, it seems like nothing really bothers Kay. She does well in any environment as long as she feels protected.

Low High

Medical History

My health has been checked:

  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Microchipped
  • Vaccinated
  • Regular Worming Treatment

Kay has no health issues that we are aware of. The tip of her left ear is clipped but has already healed.
My Behavior

My Behavior

Kay needs to be with someone who is patient and willing to wait for her to warm up to you. She does not respond well to high-energy environments with a lot of movement and unpredictability. She has run from this kind of environment before. We don't recommend any dog ever be off leash but be especially careful with Kay. She loves hanging out with her dog friends and would do well in a home that has another dog.

My Behavior
