PACK Academy works with New Taipei City Animal Shelter to assess improper feeding environment and bring back 7 dogs. Luby is one of them. Growing up in improper environments, Luby doesn’t know how to get along with human and dogs, so she is very sensitive and shy. Our keepers and volunteers patiently help Luby get socialized, but she still often huddles in the cornet and doesn’t dare to move. Thus, PACK Academy Team decides to put Luby into a foster family after assessment to help with her desensitization and become used to live with family members. The team wishes to get this curious and shy little baby out to explore more about this world.
Luby is a cautious puppy. When people want to interact with her, she stays and observes from the far side first until she makes sure everything is safe and begins to get a little bit closer. Though easily gotten scared by sound and movement, she is brave enough to walk on leash. The shy, cautious and timid Luby needs a patient family.
Luby is nothing close to energetic. She prefers to sleep quietly.
Luby is vey shy. She likes to follow people at home but runs away when people are facing her. When you have friends to come to have meals at home, Luby will sniff for a while if strangers quietly give her their hands.
Luby likes to follow behind people. She prefers to follow behind no matter being at home or out.
Luby hasn’t seen many things so her reaction is strong but she shows strong curiosity at the same time. She is afraid of taking elevator at first but after 5-6 times practices she can get inside without any pulling. She is also very curious about the vacuum cleaner at home! She follows behind when people are vacuuming.

She is scared when we are waiting at the coffee shop for our take-out. She gets scared basiecally at every shop. However, she calms down more quicky and begins to sniff around after visiting the same shop for 4-5 times.
