My story

My story

Sense is a gentle-natured mixed breed with a look reminiscent of a Golden Retriever and Labrador; his sturdy, cuddly build exudes an immediate sense of warmth and reliability. Reportedly abandoned in the mountains and left to wander, he was rescued and brought to the Xindian Animal Shelter before PACK brought him in for care and training. Despite his past hardships, Sense holds no grudges toward humans; he is extraordinarily compliant with zero behavioral triggers, suggesting he once lived happily in a loving home. While not dominant among dogs, he may follow pack dynamics to pick on weaker ones and needs mindful guidance. This resilient, people-loving boy is now ready to step into a loving forever family and embark on a bright, joyful new chapter together.

Sense

Personality

Sense embodies the "ESTJ Executive" personality—enthusiastic, socially adept, observant, and deeply people-oriented. A true charmer who loves being in the limelight, he actively seeks human attention and uses clever, endearing gestures to win affection. While mostly calm and composed, he shines as a vibrant extrovert in lively social settings. He is exceptionally food-motivated, which makes obedience work and daily training seamless and fun. Although he has independent thoughts, he prioritizes pleasing his humans and willingly yields to guidance, while still carrying natural leadership instincts around other dogs. Mature, affectionate, and emotionally balanced, Sense has the adaptable disposition to thrive in virtually any family environment.

My Behavior

My Behavior

Sense is an obedient, well-mannered companion in everyday life. Completely devoted to humans, he craves affection, body rubs, and gentle touch. His high food drive makes training a joy, as he responds enthusiastically to instructions. On walks, he may occasionally try to guide the route with moderate leash pull, but he redirects easily under verbal guidance. He is fully house-trained with no indoor accidents reported. He exhibits no separation anxiety, resource guarding, aggression, or destructive chewing. The only notable quirk is mild barking when his movement is restricted, purely to gain human attention. While he needs mindful supervision to maintain fair social boundaries with other dogs, he is overall an exemplary companion.
