Adopt Wei Wei
Boy • 9 years old • Sagittarius • Obsidian • 20kg • Mixed Breed
Wei Wei was brought to PACK Taiwan when he was just a young dog. He spent his early days roaming the streets without a home. Other dogs picked on him so he had to stand up for himself. His rescuer brought him to us so he could live a less stressful life. Now he's looking for a forever home!
Wei Wei is a confident dog who may look tough on the outside, but he's a softie on the inside. Once you gain his trust, you will also earn his loyalty. He's the kind of dog who will quietly lay by your side while you watch TV or work. His face lights up whenever you say his name or pet him. He loves going outside for walks but he's also happy to lay on his bed for most of the day, pondering the meaning of life. While Wei Wei is still learning how to be a pet after being a stray animal for most of his life, his progress has been impressive.
Wei Wei is calm and relaxed at home but will get excited when going outside.
Wei Wei likes to meet new people. He's more cautious around kids.
Wei Wei is willing to follow humans as long as they are strong leaders.
It takes Wei Wei around a week to get used to a new environment
My health has been checked:
- Regular Worming Treatment
Wei Wei is a healthy dog with no known health issues. He has some small scars on his muzzle from previous injuries.
At PACK Academy, we socialize our dogs by exposing them to different stimuli and recording their tolerance levels for each one. These oservations help us understand the dogs better, which then helps us find suitable homes for them.

There are some common behavior issues that we see in dogs who have spent a significant amount of time in a shelter. We assess our dogs for these behaviors and provide training plans for adopters to help manage them.
Rarely barks, only when aroused by other dogs or cats
Wei Wei has not exhibited signs of separation anxiety
Needs leadership to prevent "bodyguard" mindset
Has guarded resources from dogs (but not humans)
Loves chewing on toys, has not destroyed furniture
Obedience training is critical for nurturing healthy dog-human relationships and having a well-behaving dog. Our dogs receive basic training at PACK Academy, which provides a foundation for communication between dog and human.
