Join together to build a safe home for stray dogs

The Sunshine House Project has officially reached its fundraising goal! ☀️Every donation and every share became a brick helping build a new home for the dogs. Thank you for walking this journey with us. Now it's time for us to turn your support into a real place where they can feel safe, protected, and at home.

In the PACK HQ are a group of forgotten dogs, some of which live in big outdoor gardens enjoying nature, plenty of room to move, and free access to dens. As they advance in years, these dogs are finding it more challenging to cope with extreme weather, and the fencing that keeps them safe is also growing old and rusting away.

PACK HQ is located on a rainy mountainside, and the fences have severely rusted.

We repeatedly reinforce them with our limited resources.

Whenever it rains, the outdoor shelters become muddy and difficult to manage.

The PACK takes seriously its responsibility to protect the dogs’ health and safety. Because we want them all to feel loved and be well cared for, we’ll be building a new home for them this year! This new home will provide a safe, well-ventilated, and clean indoor living space. It will give the dogs their own rooms with space to move around. Outside the building will be large and small gardens for the dogs to eat, walk, play, and socialize. We will also move and build our exercise facilities, and a rehab swimming pool.

It’s a big dream, but the PACK continually strives for higher standards to show how private shelters can be better and more homey. We will keep improving until all homeless dogs in Taiwan have a safe home.

The new shelter project is an unprecedented improvement at the PACK. Our team is devoted wholeheartedly to its successful completion. The project is divided into two parts to get the most out of our spending.

Stage 1

｜Fundraising Success｜

The goal of Phase 1 is to lay a strong foundation for Sunshine House. We will begin with site preparation, removing old structures, preparing building materials, and planning and constructing the foundation.

Starting from clearing and preparing the land, we will take things step by step to get ready for the future home. What may look like simple groundwork is actually a crucial step in turning Sunshine House from a blueprint into reality—bringing the dogs in our care one step closer to a safe and secure home.

Stage 2

｜Fundraising Success｜

The goal of Phase 2 is to gradually bring the main spaces of Sunshine House to life.
We will build 19 comfortable rooms and 5 private recovery rooms, along with thoughtfully designed large and small gardens, a rehabilitation pool, and features that provide better ventilation and visual privacy.

As these spaces are built step by step, Sunshine House will slowly transform from a construction plan into a real home—one that protects the dogs and accompanies them in their daily lives.
